Every year SAP gives us an early Christmas present in the form of the 2H SAP SuccessFactors release. I will list the most important changes for your SuccessFactors Integration with SAP on-premise for the newest instalment.
Connecting Multiple Employee Central Instances to the Same Client of SAP S/4HANA Now Includes Organizational Object Replication
With SP 3 of ECS4HCM SAP enabled customers to connect multiple Employee Central Instances to the same client of SAP S/4 Hana. Unfortunately, this had some restrictions. One of them was that you could not use that it for Organizational Object replication. This restriction has now been lifted. However, the migration of OM-Objects to multiple EC-Instances is unfortunately not possible, yet.
In the following image, you can see a report which will be provided by SAP. With this program, you will be able to fill in the information about the instance to the table SFIOM_KMAP_OSI.
Trigger Cross-System Workflow with Data Change on Job Information
Cross-System Workflow now supports data changes in Job Information that do not require an Employee Central Workflow.
For various HR processes (e.g. a hiring process) you have a data change without any workflow in SuccessFactors. Fortunately, wow this action can trigger a cross-system workflow. This will enable HR professionals to have an end-to-end view of these processes from the worklist UI.
The configuration of this is done very easily, you just have to add the corresponding event reasons in the integration flow.

What else is new for SuccessFactors Integration?
Besides the above-mentioned changes, SAP offers a few more for SuccessFactors Integrations. For example, you can now use the new „EMPLOYMENT_END_DATE“-filter of the compound employee API in your on-premise replication. Additionally, you can now replicate new hires who go on long-term leave on the hire date as well.
