Entering time manually, day by day, can be time-consuming. The new Quick Create feature gives us more options here:

  • Employees can now enter multiple time recordings at once.
  • Works for consecutive and non-consecutive days.
  • Reduces repetitive data entry and minimizes the chance for errors.

Flexible Approval Periods and Easy Corrections

  • Approvals can now be weekly, biweekly, monthly, or even mid-month, making it easier to align with payroll needs.
  • Managers have full visibility when an entry is declined or canceled, including the reason.
  • Employees can quickly correct and resubmit their timesheets, which makes the process faster and easier.
  • Time sheets are now blocked from submission when unresolved discrepancies exist, preventing errors before approval.

Audit Logs

To improve accountability, SuccessFactors Time Tracking customers can now generate the Change Audit Document for their timesheets. This document provides a comprehensive view of changes and allows users to achieve the following:

  • Administrators can see who created, modified, approved or rejected each entry for a given time period.
  • The document provides a full timeline of changes, enhancing transparency profoundly.
  • Helps HR and managers stayiing on top of compliance and accountability, allowing them to detect problems early and resolve them efficiently.

Mobile Enhancements

Recent updates focused on bringing the mobile user experience and functionality closer to that in the browser.

  • Flexible approval periods now work on mobile as they do on desktops.
  • Managers approve and review time sheets on the go, with the same level of detail and flexibility.
  • Employees can view their work schedules, holidays and working days through the unified My Calendar feature in Mobile Time Off and Time Sheet.
  • Mobile Time Sheet now gives a quick and clear view of worked hours, time balances, and period results, making time tracking simpler and more transparent.

Altogether, these features increase consistency across devices and provide a better overall experience for users.
